Description

Kalios dried sage is grown in the Greek mountains. It’s harvested by hand and dried in the shade to preserve the essential oils. Pluck a few leaves to flavour marinades and buttery sauces. 

Dried sage has a pungent, earthy flavour. Use it sparingly so as not to overwhelm the other ingredients in your dish. Sage is a popular ingredient in stuffing and marinades. Pair it with pork or chicken for a flavourful Sunday roast.

In the Mediterranean, sage is added to casseroles and tomato sauces. Try adding a few leaves to a butternut squash risotto. Or, sauté them in butter to drizzle over ravioli.

Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
