Ergon Originals Greek Forest & Pine Honey, 450g
Description
Drizzle Greek forest and pine honey over yoghurt and flaky pastries. In Greece, it’s a staple at the breakfast table. You can use it to sweeten hot drinks and overnight oats.
This honey is produced in the Taygetus mountains on the Peloponnese peninsula. It’s sweet and aromatic with earthy, woody notes. The unique flavour works well in sweet and savoury recipes. Try adding it to baked goods like biscuits and flapjacks.
Forest and pine honey is fantastic in dressings and glazes. Pair it with extra virgin olive oil, garlic and sea salt. Add a splash of balsamic or white wine vinegar to balance its sweetness. This all-purpose glaze is delicious on pork and roasted butternut squash.
