These carob breadsticks originate from the Cretan town of Sfakia. They’re irresistibly crunchy and not too sweet. Enjoy them on their own or serve them as part of a mezze feast. 

The breadsticks are made with carob flour, following an old Cretan recipe. The flour gives them a slightly sweet flavour and distinctive colour. 

Carob breadsticks are a satisfying snack for any time of day. Serve them with an array of dips, such as hummus and taramasalata. Or, add a handful to your cheese board. Their earthy taste works well with Greek cheeses like feta and kefalotyri.
